DreamWorks Animation
It's real, I cannot believe how everything all come together. I am here in San Francisco. It is a dream coming true. Every moment seems very unreal for me yet this is so true. This is my fourth week working here in DWA. More to come.
Back in School
After interning at Buck I am back here in SCAD finishing out my last quarter. Through the internship, I've learned many things. Thanks to everyone at Buck and I am glad I could work with you guys.
I am currently working on my short film, and I will post up on here soon. Thank you for all your interest.

My Future
Hello there, I have started my internship at BUCK on the 4th day of the 2010 and it's been nearly three weeks. I am learning things everyday and love'in it. I'll be back.
Interior Design
Hello, lately I got a freelance interior design job in L.A. It is not the usual things I do in computer. I am working on a house with nothing in it, witch is a lot like the beginning of my CG scenes. I have always interested in interior design but didn't come around going to school for it. Since I was trained in both traditional 2D and 3D design, I thought it would be nice to do a project like this. I started by doing a lot research of all the styles and then into the structures of the house see where things should be and make sense to me. Later I stared to see where the lights should be and how it would illuminate the room. then the color of all the things and how they mix and match each other. there are a lot things left for me to do. Next time I will post some pictures for you all to see.
Happy holidays to everyone.
MEL Mountain Peak Tool
Hello all, I want to share with you today are my mountain peak tool, it's been a while since my last post and I was very busy with my final and all the company visits here at my school. I have little video showing what does my tool do and how to use it. at the same time I have a paper where explain more of how did I come up with the idea and the research I did. I will have both of material in an external link for u to download. Thank you for all your e-mail and comments it really pushes me forward and thank you Prof. Ken Huff for help.

My First GUI for MEL
I want to share the first graphic user interface here for MEL, it's an randomisation tool to make object randomised in Translation, Rotation, and Scale. This is a very useful tool as I will be using it often in my future work and here is a quick screen grab.

Back to the drawing board…
So I started doing some shading and texturing on my attic project, but it just feels like something is missing, so I went back to the drawing board did four different concept to give myself some ideas interns of what I want to do with this piece, maybe a time me change exercise. Time is short, as of now I will only do one of the senarial and I will comeback later and hit on the project and give new life to this piece.
Here are the photos.

Catching up
So, here I am today updating my blog. I want to say first thank you for all the people who have the time to check out my blog and secondly, I really need to spend more time on MEL. Every time I learn some thing new I have always been fascinating of how much we can learn in the world and every time when that happen it's very exciting.
What I want to share today are another MEL exercise I did while studying under Prof. Kenneth Huff. I am trying to achieve how to make either Lissajous Curve or Lorenz Curve with MEL procedural. It was very hard for me to understand the expression in maya at first, there for I was pointed to maya help documentation where it gives brief overview of what is expression and particles. Understanding the math equation was not as hard. After reading and reasserting more into the particle expression systems. First we have to create a CV curve with approximately 100 CV points in a strait line then. I have learned of how to make the curve happen first in X and Y axis where it's in the two demential form. But all the cv points goes up and down together at the same time, then I realise when the expression happens I had my "t" as time rather then "particalId", alternately what I want is each particle to move up and down on a sin wave not all of them at the same time. Later where you will use the same formula to plug back into for the Z axis to achieve something look like this(See video). You will not find that is how it looks in the perspective view but with in the front view of the curve.
From this exercise it lead me to new exploration in mathematics and nature, it also triggered me of how important it is for artist to learn and research through out each project, and that is where the fun it is, to experience and learn new things everyday. What I found is very interesting to me is Karman Vortex Street where I might develop that in to my final project.
